碩士(專)班學位考 Master’s program degree exam

壹、申請文件:(以下文件請繳至所辦申請)
1、申請應至陽明交通單一入口網填妥申請書後繳交至所辦所辦。
2、歷年成績單一份(可由本所提供無註冊章的公務用成績單給教務處,請事先告知)。
3、當學期選課單一份。
4、指導教授推薦函一份
5、中文及英文論文摘要各一頁。
6、若欲邀請的口試委員非副教授職級,須再附上委員CV,經認可後方可邀請。

注意:每年12月份請勿辦理口試(因會計結帳無經費可支給委員費用) !

貳、應考條件:
(一)碩士班研究生,符合下列規定者,提出論文,得申請碩士學位考試,經碩
士學位考試委員會考試通過者,授予碩士學位:
一、 碩士班修業逾一學期。
二、 完成本所之應修課程、學分數及碩士班論文研究。
三、 當學期結束才可完成應修課程、學分數及其他考核規定者,若提出論文,
經指導教授推薦,得提早舉行碩士學位考試,俟課程完成並獲得應修學分數後
授予碩士學位。未能於該學期完成應修課程者,學位考試成績不予採認。

参、學位考試委員:
碩士班研究生之碩士學位考試委員會置委員三至五人 (包含召集人和指導教授,指導教授不得擔任召集人。) ,由本所就校內外學者專家中對該研究生之研究領域有專門研究,並具備下列資格之一者,向校長推薦,由校長遴聘組成之。
一、 現任或曾任教授、副教授、助理教授。
二、 中央研究院院士、現任或曾任中央研究院研究員、副研究員、助研究員。
三、 獲有博士學位,且在學術上著有成就。
四、 研究領域屬於稀少性、特殊性學科或屬專業實務,且在學術上或專業上著
有成就。
前項第三款、第四款資格之認定基準,由辦理學位授予之各教學單位訂定之。
碩士班研究生之配偶、前配偶或三親等內之血親、姻親,不得擔任其碩士學位
考試委員。
肆、論文初稿撰寫:
論文初稿之撰寫必須依照規定格式,可由指導教師決定用英文或用中文撰寫,
經指導教師審查認可後,於學位考試舉行前兩週內印妥紙本,交給各考試委
員。
伍、學位考試申請及舉辦日期:請依當學期公佈為準。

陸、辦理學位考試應符合下列規定:
一、 論文考試舉行前,應完成論文原創性比對報告並供考試委員參考;於論文
考試結束後,由指導教授於學位考試成績資料表簽核確認。
二、 口試以公開舉行為原則,須於事前公佈口試時間、地點及論文題目。
三、 學位考試委員應親自出席委員會,不得委託他人為代表。碩士學位考試委
員會至 少應有委員三人出席。不符合本款規定者不得舉行考試, 已舉行者其成績以不予採認。
四、 學位考試委員會,由所長核定一人為召集人,但指導教授不得兼任召集
人。
五、 考試成績,以 B- (百分制七十分)為及格,A+ (百分制一百分)為滿分,
並以出席委員 評定分數平均決定之,但碩士學位考試有二分之一以上出席委員
評定不及格者,學位考試成績以不及格論,不予平均。
六、 論文有造假、變造、抄襲、由他人代寫或其他舞弊情事,經學位考試委員
會審查確 定者,學位考試成績以零分登錄且不得重考。

柒、撤銷學位考試之申請:已申請學位考試之研究生,若因故無法於該學期內完成學位考試,得告知所辦申請撤銷考試。

捌 、 離校手續及表單:

一、學位考口試後請將口試當日所有的資料給指導教授及委員簽名並送交所辦給所長簽名 。

二、論文請與指導教授討論修訂完成後再上傳至圖書館 。

三 、 畢業離校時所辦要收到一本論文精裝本才會幫您核准線上離校流程 。

MASTER’S PROGRAM DEGREE EXAM

I. Application Documents: (The following documents should be submitted to the ICM administrative office

1. Please submit the application form to the ICM administrative office after filling it out on NYCU Portal . 

2. A copy of the academic transcript for past years ( ICM administrative office can provide official transcripts without registration stamps, issued by the NYCU Academic Affairs Office. If needed, please inform in advance). 
3. A copy of the course selection list for the current semester. 
4. A letter of recommendation from the advisor . 
5. One page each of the abstract in Chinese and English. 
6. If the oral examination committee member you want to invite is not an associate professor, you must attach the committee CV, and you can invite it after approval.

II, sit conditions: 
(a) master class students, in line with the provisions under列proposed論text, apply for a master’s degree exam, the master
‘s degree by Examination Board exams were awarded a master’s degree:
a Master class of their official over a semester. 
2. Complete the study of the required courses, credits and master’s thesis of the institute. 
3. Those who can complete the required courses, credits and other assessment requirements at the end of the semester, if they submit a thesis,
recommended by the advisor, the master’s degree exam should be held early, and the master’s degree will be
awardedafter the course is completed and the required credits are obtained. Those who fail to complete the required courses in the semester will not be admitted to the degree examination results.

Participants and degree examination committee members: The 
master degree examination committee of the postgraduate program has three to five members (including the convener and the advisor,and the advisor shall not be the convener.), the research on the graduate student will be conducted by the scholars and experts inside and outside the school. Those who have specialized research in the field and possess one of the following qualifications shall be recommended to the principal and appointed by the principal. 
1. Current or former professors, associate professors, assistant professors. 
2. Academician of Academia Sinica, current or former researcher, associate researcher, and assistant researcher of Academia Sinica. 
3. A doctorate degree and academic achievements. 
4. The research field is a rare, special subject or professional practice, and has academic or professional
achievements. 
The qualification criteria for qualifications in the third and fourth paragraphs of the preceding paragraph shall be determined by each teaching unit that handles the degree award. 
The spouse, former spouse, blood relatives, or in-laws of a postgraduate student in a master’s degree program may not serve as a member of their master’s degree
examination. 
4. Writing of the 
first draft of the thesis:The draft of the first draft of the thesis must be written in accordance with the prescribed format. The instructor may decide to write it in English or Chinese.
After the instructor has reviewed and approved it, the paper will be printed and handed over to each examination within two weeks before the degree examination. Committee

V. Degree examination application and date:Please refer to the announcement of the current semester.

Lu. The degree examination should meet the following requirements:  
1. Before the thesis examination is held, the originality comparison report of the thesis should be completed and provided for the examination committee’s reference; after the thesis
examination, the instructor shall sign and confirm on the degree examination score data sheet. 
2. The oral test shall be held in public, and the time, place and the topic of the essay must be announced in advance. 
3. The degree examination committee members shall attend the committee in person and shall not appoint others as representatives. Master’s degree examination committee
members will have at least three members to attend
Those who do not meet the requirements of this paragraph shall not hold the examination, and the results of those that have already been held shall not be accepted. 

5. Exam scores, with B- (70 points per cent system) as passing, A+ (100 points per 100 points) as the full score,
and the average score of the attending committee members is determined. However, more than one-half of the attending committee members
assessing themaster’s degree exam.Those who fail the degree examination will be considered as failing and will not be averaged.

7. Application for cancellation of degree examination: For graduate students who have applied for degree examination, if for some reason they cannot complete the degree examination within the semester, they must notify the applicant to cancel the examination.

Procedures and forms for leaving and leaving school:

1. After the oral exam for the degree exam, please sign all the materials on the day of the oral exam to the instructor and committee members and send it to the office for signatures. 

2. Please discuss the revision with the instructing professor before uploading the paper to the library. 

3. When you graduate and leave school, you will need to receive a hardcover copy of the thesis before it will help you approve the online leave process.
